Factory site on the edge of the yard

 

 

Fig. 1 and 2 - Now that the factory buildings (grain mill with silo and attached bread/bakery factory) are finished except for the color aging and the advertising lettering, we started with the terrain strip between the factory and the freight yard tracks. For the floor unloading of the silo cars in front of the storage building, Andy made and painted the floor flaps and side board covers from Auhagen parts. The silo building will now still get a protective roof in the unloading area.

 

 

 

 

Fig. 3 and 4 - The flooring consists of sand (beige and a little brown) from the bush range. Fine Rhine gravel and Turfs from Woodland (beige and green tones) and foliage flakes from Heki were mixed in. In the first step, the sand was sprinkled directly into white glue. The turfs were then sprinkled over and glued wet in wet. The rails were also completely covered. The second step was to apply various Woodlandturfs, sand and foliage. The first tree was planted behind the production building. Another one will follow.

 

 

 

 

Fig. 5 and 6 - Two more views. Of course, decorations like fences, bushes, people and others are still missing.

 

 

 

 

 

Fig. 7 and 8 - Andy has added a canopy to the silo building above the bottom unloading point. Now the grain stays dry. Andy had the parts for the canopy in the leftover box. I didn't know the hopper yet either!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fig. 9 and 10 - The advertising board for the bread factory has also been built, painted and put up. Now Andy tormented the internet for "appropriate" bread factory names for the board and buildings. The billboard is from Gunter`s Car Company - Us-Building - Roof Detail- Set 2 - # 3012.

 

 

 

 

 

Fig. 11 and 12 - Andy fenced the factory area with a wire mesh fence, similar to the one at the container station. The construction of the fence is described above. Thus the area is secured against cake theft! On the backdrop, a cloud background is attached on a trial basis.

 

 

 

 

Fig. 13 and 14 - The advertising sign is ready! The company has a name. The first deliveries of the mill are also ready for removal.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fig. 14 and 15 - Dounats need plenty of chocolate and sugar. These basic materials come in tank cars by rail, of course! Construction of the tanks see under button buildings.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fig. 14a and 15a - The wholesale bakery can finally put its silos for liquid sugar and chocolate into operation. Pumps and connecting pipes to the factory have been installed. The unloading equipment for the tankers is also installed. UP can come with the tankers. Workers are also "working" on the site.
