Ford Motor Company car factory

autofabrik1autofabrik2Fig. 1 - Between the diesel store and the cold store, the Ford Motor Company has built one of its plants in the USA. In addition to some older buildings, modern factory and warehouse buildings have been erected, some of which can be seen at the back of the factory site facing the railroad tracks. Except for the large warehouse porch by Conestone, all the other buildings were self-built in semi-relief by Andy. The whole factory has a length of over 150 cm. The large factory buildings have a wooden core, which was covered with an Aluwell foil and provided with the Ford mark.

Fig. 2 - In the first building was integrated the railroad loading facilities for the new vehicles. It has 2 levels and was built from Evergreen panels and profiles. The storage area for the new vehicles, which are not loaded directly from the assembly line, is assumed to be located inside the factory premises.

Fig. 3 - The loading facility once again closer. To the right is a small brick office annex, where the logistics department is located. Next to it is the second large warehouse and fabrication hall with an older Cornerston warehouse with ramp.

Fig. 4 - This building from the other side. At the end again a ramp, from which components from boxcars can be unloaded and brought into the hall.

All buildings are not yet firmly mounted on the layout plate, as the "landscape" still has to be completed.
